Nano-yttrium oxide (Y2O3, also known as yttrium trioxide) is a rare earth oxide nanomaterial. It is white or white with yellowish powder and has a cubic crystal structure. The size range of nano-yttrium oxide is usually between 1-100 nm and has a high purity (usually reaching more than 99.99%). In addition, it has good thermal stability, chemical stability, optical properties and transparency.

1, optical materials: nano-yttrium oxide because of its high refractive index and good optical transparency, is often used as an additive for optical glass to improve its optical properties. In addition, it can be used to manufacture laser crystals and other optical devices.
2, ceramic materials: nano-yttrium oxide can improve the thermal stability, corrosion resistance and mechanical strength of ceramic materials. Therefore, it is often used as a raw material or additive for high-temperature structural ceramics, ceramic scintillators and transparent ceramics.
3, catalyst: nano yttrium oxide has excellent catalytic performance, can be used as a catalyst for a variety of chemical reactions, such as oil cracking, automobile exhaust treatment.
4, fluorescent materials: nano-yttrium oxide can be used as a substrate material for phosphors, used to manufacture various light-emitting devices, such as fluorescent lamps, displays, etc.
5, laser materials: due to its excellent optical properties and thermal stability, nano yttrium oxide can be used to manufacture laser crystals for solid-state lasers.
6, biomedical: nano-yttrium oxide also has certain applications in the biomedical field, such as drug carriers, biological imaging and biosensors.
7, other fields: nano-yttrium oxide can also be used to make special glass, superconductors, superalloys, etc., and as a cladding material for nuclear fuel.
